Every year, as a way to mark the transition from middle school to high school and say thank you to Hemingway teachers and staff, the students and families of graduating 8th graders raise money for a gift to the school. This year, the 8th grade class gift will be a Chairlift Bench. This bench is a refurbished quad chair from Sun Valley's Christmas lift. The bench will be installed on the school grounds providing a comfortable and unique spot to sit for students and visitors for years to come.

Every year, as a way to mark the transition from elementary to middle school, and say thank you to Hemingway teachers and staff, the students and families of graduating 5th graders raise money for a gift to the school. This year, the 5th grade class gift will be a 'Spirit Rock'. More than just painted boulders on campus, spirit rocks are symbols of community pride, unity, and celebration. The rock will be painted with graduating class handprints and names and installed near the front of the school.
