Every year, as a way to mark the transition from middle school to high school and say thank you to Hemingway teachers and staff, the students and families of graduating 8th graders raise money for a gift to the school. This year, the 8th grade class gift will be a Chairlift Bench. This bench is a refurbished quad chair from Sun Valley's Christmas lift. The bench will be installed on the school grounds providing a comfortable and unique spot to sit for students and visitors for years to come.

Donations of any size are welcome and all gifts are tax-deductible. If you would like to donate but would prefer not to make an online donation, you can write a check to the Hemingway PA (put “8th Grade Gift – Chairlift Bench” in the memo line) and drop it off in the front office or put cash in an envelope labeled 8th Grade Gift – Chairlift Bench, and drop it off in the front office.
