Every year, as a way to mark the transition from elementary to middle school, and say thank you to Hemingway teachers and staff, the students and families of graduating 5th graders raise money for a gift to the school. This year, the 5th grade class gift will be a 'Spirit Rock'. More than just painted boulders on campus, spirit rocks are symbols of community pride, unity, and celebration. The rock will be painted with graduating class handprints and names and installed near the front of the school.

Donations of any size are welcome and all gifts are tax-deductible. If you would like to donate but would prefer not to make an online donation, you can write a check to the Hemingway PA (put “5th Grade Gift – Spirit Rock” in the memo line) and drop it off in the front office or put cash in an envelope labeled 5th Grade Gift – Spirit Rock, and drop it off in the front office. Thank you!
